Asset Classes

COMMODITIES & TRADE FINANCE

Through commodity-linked and trade-finance structures we aim to finance real flows of goods – from raw materials to semi-finished products. Properly structured, these transactions can offer attractive risk-adjusted returns with short to medium maturities, backed by underlying receivables, inventories or contracts.

DIGITAL ASSETS

(SELECTED)

Digital assets are approached in a conservative and size-limited manner, where allowed by the relevant structure and investor profile. Our focus is on liquidity, market depth and counterparty risk, with strict allocation caps within the overall portfolio.

LISTED EQUITIES

Listed equities provide participation in corporate growth and innovation.

Our approach is selective and risk-conscious, focusing on business models with solid balance sheets, clear cash generation and a credible long-term strategy, rather than purely short-term market momentum.

FX (USD / EUR) & PRECIOUS METALS

Foreign currency exposures, primarily USD and EUR, are used both as functional currencies of investments and as macro-hedging tools.

Gold and silver may be used as long-term stores of value and as partial hedges against inflation and systemic risk.

RISK & GOVERNANCE

A robust governance and risk framework is central to the Nobis Capital philosophy. Investment opportunity is never evaluated without reference to liquidity, counterparty, legal and operational risk.

Risk Management Principles

  • Diversification – across asset classes, sectors, geographies and instruments.

  • Clear limits – maximum exposure thresholds for each asset class and for higher-volatility strategies.

  • Liquidity awareness – balancing long-term real assets with sufficient liquid instruments.

  • Counterparty discipline – preference for regulated institutions, reputable counterparties and clear legal frameworks.

Governance & Compliance

Nobis Capital operates within the Luxembourg legal environment and works with regulated management companies, depositaries and administrators where required by the chosen fund structure.
Governance focuses on transparency, segregation of duties and alignment of interests between investors, portfolio managers and service providers.
